POSITIONING AND GO-TO-MARKET

YOUR CLIENTS KNOW WHAT YOU CAN DO. DOES ANYONE ELSE?

You explain what you do from scratch in every conversation. Your website covers everything, yet the wrong inquiries keep coming. Or too little happens beyond your personal network. More marketing is not automatically the answer. This is where your offer, the way you reach clients and your sales process need to be examined together.

OWN YOUR CONTACT BASE

I LOOK BEYOND HOW YOUR BUSINESS PRESENTS ITSELF.

I follow the path to a contract. Can a new client see why they need you? Are you reaching the people who decide? And does an inquiry become a conversation, a proposal or simply an unanswered email?

Then I work on what is missing: sharpen the offer, develop a route through contacts or partners, focus the website on a specific need and organize follow-up. If that requires a tool, I help build it. If something already works, we use it.

WHAT I LOOK AT

What does a client pay you for? Can they recognize that value before you explain it in person?

What creates the need? Who decides, who influences the decision and what do they need to understand?

Where do relevant contacts come from today: referrals, partners, direct outreach, search or articles? What leads to conversations, and what just creates work?

Who takes responsibility for an inquiry? What happens next? How do you tell whether a contact is moving forward or being left behind?

WHAT THE WORK NEEDS TO PUT IN PLACE

An offer a new client can understand. A relevant way to reach the people who need it. A clear next step when someone inquires. And someone in the business who takes it forward.

That is how I judge the work. A sharper line of copy is not enough. It has to hold up on the website, in a conversation, in a proposal and during follow-up. Depending on where you start, I improve one of those parts or build the missing connection.

KEEP YOUR CONTENT AND PRESENCE CURRENT

A clear offer needs to come through on your website, in sales material and in campaigns. I write, design and update the content that supports it: website copy, posts, presentations, sales documents and campaign content. This can be a defined project or agreed ongoing work. If the task is already clear, we agree the result, scope and price or cost limit directly.

MORE VISITORS WILL NOT CLOSE THIS GAP.

Illustrative example, not a client case.

A specialist business launches a new service. Existing clients have not heard about it. The website lists every service and leaves visitors to work out which one fits. Inquiries go to the general inbox with no clear next step.

A campaign could bring more visitors without making the offer clearer or fixing what happens next. The approach: explain the new service around a specific need, contact relevant existing clients and connect each inquiry to a responsible person and a next step. Then it becomes meaningful to test which routes bring relevant conversations.

TEST A NEW MARKET BEFORE BUILDING AROUND IT.

A new service or second line of business does not need a complete launch package first. It needs a question you can test: who needs what you can do, and under what conditions would they buy?

I help make the offer concrete and find a way to speak with the right people. Their responses determine what comes next: develop it, change it or stop. Not every test needs a campaign. Every test needs a basis for a decision.

THE BUSINESS NEEDS TO OWN THE PATH TO ITS CLIENTS.

Your offer, content, ways to get in touch and follow-up need to work together. We agree which work and responsibility I take on. The business retains decision-making, access and control.

Disruption Dynamics has built these connections in its own business: positioning, a website in three languages, topic pages and Insights, machine-readable content and analysis of actual search queries. The same test applies here: what gets found? What gets understood? Does it lead to a relevant conversation?

Common questions

We get inquiries, but little suitable work. Where do we start?

With a few actual inquiries, from first contact to the last documented step. I look at who got in touch, what they understood and what happened next. That separates three different problems: reaching the wrong people, an unclear offer or a next step that gets lost inside the business.

Does DD handle implementation too?

Yes. I sharpen the offer and help put the route to market in place: relevant entry points, a website or tool, inquiries and follow-up. We clarify what is needed. The agreement sets out the work and responsibility I take on.

Do we need more posts, advertising or another channel?

If the right people are not finding you, that may be the next step. If they arrive but cannot see what you do for them, the work is elsewhere. I check both before more money goes into reach.

We serve two very different audiences. Does this still work?

Yes. Different situations may need different entry points, examples and ways to get in touch. The substance of the business stays the same. Nobody should have to read about everything you do to recognize their own need.

How will we know whether it is working?

We establish a starting point and track relevant inquiries, conversations, proposals and contracts. Depending on the task, reliable follow-up matters too. Published content, visibility and business won are separate steps. None is treated as proof of the next.

WHERE DO YOU LOSE YOUR NEXT CLIENT?

Let’s start with your offer, your website or an actual inquiry. I look at what stops an inquiry from becoming a contract and what needs to change. If you need an overview first, the diagnosis gives you a clear basis for deciding what comes next. You then choose what to take forward yourself and where I get to work.

In our first conversation, we clarify what you need and how to begin. If you need an overview first, we continue with a 60-minute diagnosis and a 48-hour deep scan. The Strategic Map is yours to keep. All of this comes without a fee. Then you decide. If you want to think through an idea or a decision, we start directly with consulting, once or on an ongoing basis. If the task is already clear, we agree scope, responsibility and price or a cost limit directly.
